We Got An Offer on Our Townhouse!
We had four showings this past weekend, and our realtor (who is a good friend of ours) called last night to say that he expected an offer sometime today. DH (the impatient person that he is) just called me - he's been pestering our realtor ALL DAY - and said that the guy who saw it on Saturday and again yesterday made an offer! He's asking only $900 below our asking price, plus $1,000 towards closing costs and we have our carpets professionally cleaned. Plus, he's giving us 6 weeks to move - until May 16th.
I'm trying to not get too excited in case something falls through, but I can't help it! This is by far the best offer we've received on our townhouse thus far. Now, hopefully the house we've had our eye on hasn't sold!
Thanks to all of you sending selling dust our way! Thanks to St. Joseph who we buried a few weeks ago! (Geez, I sound like I just one an award!) [h]
