Wow, looks like it's picked up over here!

I haven't been over to this board in months - it was always so slow I gave up. Looks like there's a lot more action here now, happy to see it. I'll have to start checking in more often! :-)

Re: Wow, looks like it's picked up over here!

  • Definitely!  It's slowly but surely gaining speed!

    Welcome back! [h]
  • along with the myth of ppl in KY not wearing shoes or having teeth i guess not a lot  know how to work computers...that's my reasoning on why this board stays slow.  guess we need to learn how to read so we can learn to turn the computer on!!!
  • Welcome back! Where do you ride? I used to ride a lot and did Pony Club growing up.
  • hey sweety, I actually work for the Pony Club national office in Lexington! I'm the instruction services director, I've worked there for over 11 years now - small world! I was in Pony Club when I was younger too, I grew up in Green Bay, WI so I was in the club there. I had a horse until last August, I sold him so I could get pregnant and have a baby - that's not going so well :-(  Do you still ride?
  • I'm not currently riding but would love to. I've been in contact with a few people down this way. I grew up in Eastern KY and now live in E-town. How cool is that that you work for Pony Club. I've looked at some jobs there at the KHP like Dressage and such. If you here of anything I'd be interested. I have a BBA with management but also a Early CHildhood certificate so I'm doing a program called First Steps right now. Just keep trying and have fun doing it. It will happen when its meant to. I'd love to meet you sometime we're going to try and have a GTG soon I think.
  • I'll have to keep checking over here to watch for the GTG details, sounds like fun! I was riding a horse that a friend of mine has last fall, but haven't ridden in months. I did go last Friday and ride with her since it was nice out, but good God I'm out of riding shape!! :-) With trying to get pg I don't want to really commit to doing it again because hopefully soon I'll have to stop. So we'll see, it's nice to know I have a horse to ride if I want to. I'm going to River Glen in a few weeks with my friend to groom for her, so that will be fun - make me feel a part of it again. And the Rolex is coming up, which is always fun! I'll page you if I hear of any jobs out at the park, it's a nice place to go to work everyday.
