The seller's agent told the contractors not to come on Friday b/c of the roads. I drove to Lexington to work & the roads weren't even bad. We were at the house waiting for her on Saturday when she got there to unlock the door. DH said, You know all the work has to be done by close of business Monday, right? She got the deer-in-the-headlights look & said, No. DH said, That's what the paperwork said that your client signed. She emailed our realtor yesterday to say that all the repairs would be done on time, but DH was just over there & the plumber hasn't even started on the repair behing the shower wall. Even if the plumbing gets fixed today, there's no way the drywall will be done. And the appraisal can't be done until the wall is fixed.
Btw, if anyone is interested, this lazy, unprofessional realtor's name is Jennifer Divine. She works out of the ReMax office in Richmond.
Re: House repair update
P.S. - I, on the other hand, have a really good realtor if anyone's interested! He's a great friend of DH's and I'd be happy to give out his name. [h]
