We are visiting for a 4-day weekend in May. So far we are going to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum. Is there anything else you local nesties would suggest we see???
TIA Ladies!

Re: Visiting Louisville, KY
Churchill Downs, depending on when in May you will be here. If you'll have a car, drive down to the Maker's Mark and Jim beam distilleries for tours (about 30-45 minutes from downtown). The Slugger Museum is a fun tour. I'm sure others will have lots of suggestions for you, but that's all I can think of right now.
Some things I like to take out-of-towners to - Bardstown Rd. (it's a main drag just outside of downtown that has a ton of wonderful local restaurants offering almost any kind of cuisine you could imagine, lots of local music stores and coffee shops and a lot of really cool boutiques and antique shops), tour Old Louisville to see the unique architecture (it has the single highest concentration of Victorian homes of any neighborhood in the US), Frankfort Ave (similar to Bardstown Rd but a little more upscale with more art gallaries).
I can't remember when the baseball team starts playing but I'm sure they will be playing by May so if they are you could catch a Bats game (they have a really nice new field downtown) - Thursdays are $1 beer and $1 hotdog night.
Hmmmmm....other things...you could do the Bourbon tour, but that's not really in Louisville (it's maybe 30 minutes away - just google if interested, I've never actually done it).
If I think of anything else I'll get back to you.
