PSA: Free compost

I was in Clayton the other day and took a wrong turn and while I was turning around I happened upon this huge pile of free compost. Not sure if any of you ladies are gardeners, but I thought I'd let you know about it.

It was off of Hanley and I unfortunately don't know the street name. But if you're going South on Hanley, as soon as you cross over 170 take the first left, which has a stoplight, and you'll be there. It is right across the street from the Sports Authority that's out there.

We haven't gone back to get any yet, but I assume you dig it up yourself and byo containers. All I saw was the big sign saying "Free Compost".

Re: PSA: Free compost

  • Thanks, I know Fenton also offers free mulch and compost, but I think it is only certain times in the year.

It's at Hanley and Dale, just south of highway 40.
