Sunset Hills Resturants

Anyone know anything about these resturants or another in the Sunset Hills Area?  This will be a Saturday lunch.

Thanks!

Re: Sunset Hills Resturants

  • too funny!  i'll be at O'Leary's and Helen's tonight.  Personally, i don't care for the food at Growlers.  If i had to choose between Helen's and O'Learys, I'd choose O'Learys.  My husband loves their wings and I love their sandwiches.    The only thing i've had at Helen's is appetizers (happy hours) and a chicken sandwich.

    Have fun!

  • There is also a Jimmy John's, a sushi place, bread co, longhorn, a pizza place, there is also an italian place, steak n shake, fuddrukers, lion's choice, crazy wraps and bowls.
  • If there are any beer drinkers in your party, go to Growlers. Their beer selection (100+) is mind boggling! The Chinese place on Watson just east of Lindbergh is really good. I think it's called Sesame somthing or other.

  • I've only eaten at O'Learys once, and that was several years ago, so I can't say much about it.  Helen Fitgeralds is owned by the same company as Sybergs and I believe they have several of the same menu items.  However, I don't think the menus are identical.  The beer selection at Growlers is excellent, and I like the food there too.  It may tend to be a little more on the bar/pub food side though.  I second the chinese restaraunt on Watson too... it's very good!

  • Growler's-widest menu selection, tons of beers, often very smoky HF- Owned by Syberg's, but I don't care for the atmosphere. The dining room side is stuffy, and the bar side is just ugh. O'Leary's- I'm very meh about the food. Totally mediocre. Other options- Bread Co, Tokyo Sushi, Smuggala's, Giannino's, UNO's, O'Charley's, Texas Roadhouse, Fudruckers, CBW, Wired Coffee, Jimmy John's, Penn Station, Burger King, TGI Friday's, Outback, El Maguey, Shogun, IHOP, Waffle House... I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of right now.
