Free Range Beef/Chicken - Where to buy?
We've been throwing the idea around for a while re: buying only free range and grass fed beef and chicken, and that disgusting video being shown in the news just clinched it. Does anyone have ideas as to where we could purchase this? We live in Eureka which doesn't have a plethora of resources (although I know you can purchase bison meat from Schnucks!). We don't mind traveling to find good meat - we're always all around the city/county.
Thanks for any help, or even just a shove in the right direction!
Erica

Whole Food's Market:

Also, Dierbergs & Schnucks carry "natural chicken"
Check out www.oberweisdairy.com
They deliver and their meat, not a huge selection, has no preservatives/additives/hormones. This is where we get most of our meat. Their pieces seem small, but they fill us up...I purchased some at Costco and the pieces were huge and we were hungry in an hour, but with Oberweis' meat - we aren't...Good Luck!
Actually it looks like they sell in smaller quantities now

I second Benne Farms, I know them personally and we eat only their meat, excluding fish of course!
