I think it was you that made diaper rags for Clare that had ribbons on them? Well, I was going to try and make some and wondered if you had any tips or tricks that you learned along the way that helped?

Also, as a side note . . . after looking at your profile for the thousandth time, I'm pretty sure you were the nurse that took me to my PP room after I delivered. I wish I would have put two and two together at the time!!

Thanks!

Re: ** BrideBecca **

  • I did make the burpcloths for Clare.  I really wish I would have sewed them vs using the fabric glue and fabric tape. However I would recommend the glue over the tape.  Although iron on transfers are the bomb!  Also make sure you use no-fray on the edges of the ribbon.  I would get a fray and not know it and wash the burpcloth and it would turn into a string disaster.  Make sure to wash them in a delicate bag to preserve them a bit.  I just bought some more burp clothes so if I can convince DH that I need a sewing maching, I should be good to go :)

You know I think you're right.  I vaguely remember the name Ava because I think I remember having a conversation with your mom about Eva and Ava. (Wait that might have been a patient who named their baby Eva.....)
