Suggestions for a part-time job

Hi!  I just recently had a baby and don't really want to go back to my full time day job.  If I could find a part-time job where my dh can watch the baby in the evenings and weekends it would be awesome. I really don't want someone else watching my child other than grandparents or my dh.

Does anyone know where I could apply and get 25-30 hours a week with good pay?  I can pretty much do anything. (Administrative, Sales etc.)  (I have been with my company for 8 years-I'm very reliable)

TIA!

Re: Suggestions for a part-time job

  • I worked at Home Depot part time -  I started working in the spring in the Garden Department - my pay was $9.75/hour - in the winter I went to cashier and was making $9.95/hour with in 90 days....they worked well with my schedule

  • How about a unit secretary at a hospital?  The hours are pretty flexible and they are open 24 hrs a day!  :)
  • A friend's wife works at Dierbergs p/t.  You might try something like that as you'd be able to work around dh's schedule.
  • I worked at the Container Store part-time and loved it.  The people are great, employees and customers, and the products are fun to sell.  Also, your schedule is the same every week, which makes planning very easy.  Apply on-line if you're interested.
