    1. Touring the Del (definitely scout out a cabana at the beach)
    2. The Brigantine for lunch or dinner
    3. Lamb's Players Theatre
    4. Renting a bike from Bikes and Beyond and biking around the city/waterfront
    5. Walking through the shops on Orange

    North County -
    1. Eat dinner at Trattoria I Trulli in Encinitas (their lasagna is to die for!)
    2. Legoland
    3. Wild Animal Park

    Downtown -
    1. Catch a game at Petco
    2. Seaport Village
    3. Bike the Embarcadero
    4. go to Balboa Park and enjoy the museums or a play at the Old Globe - and the Zoo (of course!)
    5. Take a harbor cruise

    Mission Bay/PB -
    1. Ride the Giant Dipper
    2. go a bit further south to Ocean Beach and eat at Hodad's (great burgers)

    La Jolla -
    1. Lunch at Georges
    2. Walk La Jolla Shores, the Cove, check out the caves
    3. Birch Aquarium
    4. La Jolla Playhouse Theater
    5. MCASD

    Del Mar -
    1. Depending on time of year - check out a race or go to the fair
    2. Hot air balloon ride
    3. Eat at the Fish Market

  • This is awesome...I want to help where ever I can but when I  looked at this list, I realized that I really stick to my little neighborhood and have not really gone to any of the places mentioned above.  I think this will be great for locals too! Thanks.

    I've been kiaking at the Mission Bay Aquatic center, that was fun.
