Update on the chocolate-mint bars

I made Cooking Light's (CL) chocolate-mint bars that were on the cover of the March issue. http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=1714574
Except I cheated since I'm trying to use up my pantry before the move. Used a box brownie mix rather than making from scratch. And used creme de menth instead of milk and peppermint extract for the mint layer. Turned out great!

Re: Update on the chocolate-mint bars
The creme de menthe is actually kinda mild. Taste the mixture and see if you want to add drops of peppermint extract.
And with the mint layer, I had a hard time spreading it. I actually pressed it out with my hands since they warmed it just enough.
