I'm lonley, it feels like there is nothing going on, except of course for the drama on the knot.  That was better than my soap opera!

One of the girls on the knot has been promoting her wedding coordinating business and a bunch of people called her out on it.  She got all mad and started making all these remarks back and it went back and forth.  Made for some good reading.

I'm not really nesting at all this week - it's one of the busiest weeks of the semester plus I have a staff meeting tomorrow evening and an all-day staff development thingy on Friday on top of it!  ugh...!  oh well, least being busy makes the time go quickly and spring break is next week!  woo hoo! 

lol at the drama - I've heard about that person pimping her business all the time...  I thought that was a big Knot-Nest no-no...

Did you see the cover of the Jan/Feb CL? I'm making those brownies but totally cheating. My excuse is that with the pack-out coming up I need to use up what is in the pantry. I happen to have a box of brownie mix. So use that as the base and tne make the mint and chocolate layers. And then for the mint layer I want to use creme de menthe instead of milk. These are for some guys at work who totally saved my bu!t by figuring out how to grab my data from a dead hard drive.

I wasn't aware of any previous drama with her, but thought she should know that by soliciting business she could get banned.  She went over the deep end!  If that is how she handles the "stress" of a message board, I'd hate to see how she handles the stress of a wedding as a DOC.  I can just picture her on Whose Wedding Is It Anyway now...

It was great fun. I just wanted to make sure all the newbs knew what was going on...

Some people took it too far but it did make for some excitement to an otherwise boring week.

I'm on for a bit... DH just made dinner. Tacos... mmmmm.

FayeD - I have been staring at that picture for a few weeks now. You have to let us know how they turn out!

I totally agree with you guys on the knot stuff.  She went way overboard.

LOL...about this drama....I keep reminding myself why I moved to the Nest in the first place...but due to the fact that the planner and I have a not-so-great past....I just couldnt bite my tongue. I am going to stay over here (hopefully) from now on...and I pray to god that she stays over there or goes away after she gets married.

I am going to try and push my hurt feelings down about her comments about my mental illness and just move on.

So I just went and lurked on the SD knot board. Wow! Very, very insteresting. I'm kinda surprised how many knotties are non-confrontational and would prefer rules broken rather than have anyone rock the boat.
