Where did you buy maternity clothes??

I'm starting to really need maternity clothes these days, or at least I feel like I do because I'm getting so uncomfortable in my clothes these days.  I'm already wearing maternity pants pretty regularly, but not shirts.  I've been shopping online at gap and old navy, I've checked out Pea in a Pod (holy prices!!) and I stopped into Motherhood at the mall yesterday (got nothing there, but did get a great new Coach spring bag!) Anyways, I really need some black pants for work.

Where did you buy your maternity clothes from?  For work?  Please help!  Thanks!

Re: Where did you buy maternity clothes??

  • my work was very casual so jeans were ok. But I did get a lot of my maternity clothes at target, i thought they were nicer quality/syle than motherthood.i did wear a lot of gap & ON also

  • I actually got my one pair of black dress pants at Motherhood.  I worked in a casual office and then got laid off, so I didn't need much other than jeans, but I had the best luck at Gap and Old Navy.  I never found anything at Kohl's, but I know friends have.  Gap and Old Navy at Evergreen Walk both carry maternity, so I went there to try on and then ordered stuff online mostly.  (Gap Maternity is in Baby Gap, not the regular store)
  • I got a lot of stuff at motherhood and Kohl's. I started out getting the demi-panel pants (is that what they're called?) thinking I'd just wear long shirts when I got bigger...but then they got really uncomfortable after not too long, so I got a pair of the full panel secret fit black pants at motherhood and they were the best! So comfortable and not super ugly. You'll definitely want full panel by the end!
  • Motherhood, JC Penny, Old Navy, Target, and I even found a few things at Wal Mart.
  • I got most of my maternity pants at Kohl's. My maternity wardrobe was mostly from Kohl's and Old Navy, with a few things from Motherhood.
  • I shopped mostly at Motherhood, Old Navy and Kohl's.  If you can catch Kohls during a sale you can get some killer deals...I was able to get a bunch of maternity tshirts for 3.00 each.  GL!

  • Don't forget there is a motherhood outlet in westbrook.
  • got mine from Loft (for work), Old Navy (for play), and Gap (a little of both, especially last summer).  I also got several hand me downs from SIL and those were from Motherhood (CT Post Mall)
  • Mostly from Motherhood and JC Penney.  Old Navy and GAP stuff didn't fit me right.  Good luck!
  • I bought 'lots' of stuff on ebay.  Some was new, some was 'gently used'.  I got some great deals.

Otherwise, like everyone else- Old Navy, Kohl's Motherhood, Target, Macy's...

  • Old Navy and Motherhood for a few dressier pieces.

Careful of the Westbrook Motherhood. They were so far up my arse I still haven't gotten them out.

  • Most of the clothes I've bought have been from Gap and ON.  I've had no luck at Kohl's or Target.  However, the hand me downs I wear are primarily from Kohl's, Target, and Motherhood.  Go figure.  I've also had better luck online than in stores.
  • Gap, Target, Old Navy, Motherhood, and Kohls.....my favorite by far was Gap.  Everything from Gap fit best and I wore a lot!  I would usually try to find stuff from there when it was on sale because I just couldn't bring myself to spend $50 on a top that I will only wear for a few months.  Good luck!!!
    P.S.
I got the most comfy black pants from Old Navy, they were cotton/knit and I was able to dree them up or down.  I think I lived in them once I reached the end, as a matter of fact I started sleeping in them because they were so cozy!
  • Motherhood, also the outlet is in Westbrook is good, Old Navy, Kohl's and Target.  I also got my bathing suit MiMi, which I loved.
  • I got most of mine at the Gap, Mimi, or Motherhood (for basics).  I've also been selling some of my stuff on ebay, and have gotten tons of bids...it seems like a popular place to buy maternity!
  • I got most of mine at Old Navy.  I don't think I've ever paid full price there for maternity clothes.  There is ALWAYS something on clearance...I just can't justify spending a ton of money on something I'm not going to wear "forever", ya know?
