Do you like the way this looks?
Yesterday, the guy at Budget Cabinets said that black crown looks great with wood cabinets, especially if you have black appliances. (We had told him that we were doing all black appliances.) I couldn't picture what that looks like and was skeptical, but I just googled and found a picture and the cabinets look almost exactly the same as the cabinets we picked out yesterday (color and style). I was surprised that I actualy like the way it looks, but I don't know if we'd actually do it.

kinda cool....but not sure that i would be able todi something so "fashion forward" in my kitchen!! side note: i didn't like the counter tops in the sample- it made the rich cabinets with the fancy black molding look cheap.
Not a fan of the black crown molding...I like the crown that matches the cabinets.
What if someday you decide you don't want black appliances?
I prefer the matching crown over the black, but I was just surprised that I actually liked the way the black looked in the picture.
I'm with everyone else - not a big fan of the black crown molding. I think if the cabinets were a dark cherry it might be okay b/c there would be less of a contrast. I do like the look of crown molding, but in the same color as the cabinets.
