Finally!!!!!!!!
The sellers came back and countered 10k less than asking. We think they need to do a little bit better, so we'll be countering tonight - or maybe tomorrow. WDYT, should we let THEM sweat it out?! I'm tempted, but kind of just want to be on with it.
Also heard the seller's wife is back in town, so we should be getting quicker responses from this point forward.

I'm not good at the sweat it out tactic. I have probably paid a little more, but I got the house. But I really do doubt they'd walk away if you meet in the middle.
