DH has a very elaborate plan. We?re going to all sit down, and place our orders. He?s going to say something like ?Erica and I have news, we?re having a baby, and by the way, happy birthday Mom and Hattie?.
My mom is going to cry. And I?m going to dare MIL with my eyes to say something not nice so I have an excuse to throw something at her.
But seriously, DH is doing all the talking. I'm just going to smile and nod.
The cool thing is, my dad knows already from a horrific m/s episode I had a few weeks ago. So he?s already excited and has been waiting to ?let loose with cheer?. My mom will be super happy, but pissed b/c I kept it from her. My MIL is the wild card, but Asher already has a speech prepared to basically tell her to stfu if she has something bad to say.
I?m hoping she doesn?t. The fact that I haven?t converted yet may mean that the bean won?t be considered Jewish when born which may send her into hysterics.
I should video the whole thing.
