Howard Stern Fans
SO, what do you guys think of the whole Artie situation that took place on Thursday. Is he gone for good, or do you think he'll be back. I missed the "issue" that came up around 8:30 as I was at work and Howard would not allow any replays of that show. HOWEVER, my DH did find a website with a recorded show and we listened to it last night. Crazy, Artie sounded out of control. It was just nuts.
I like Artie, but I don't love him, I think the show wouldn't be as funny without him. What do you think?

Artie was way out of control. I had to go into work (I was sitting in my car in the parking lot because I didn't want to miss anything!) - so I didn't hear the end of it - last I heard, Artie was in the greenroom cooling off. I think he's incredibly self distructive and it was only a matter of time until he blew the cush gig he's got there. I like artie - a lot more than i liked Jackie - but he's got major issues. As far as whether he'll come back - not sure you remember, but back when they were trying to replace Jackie and they were trying out different people - AJ Benza hit Stuttering John and he was fired from the show. This seems like the same scenario - although I hope that's not how it plays out.
They're on vacation all next week, so who knows what will happen when they return. . . .
damn- I don't get to listen to that show now that it's on satelite. What happened?!
I LOVED Artie- he was my favorite.
I didn't hear it yesterday but DH told me about it. I guess Artie was almost physically violent with his assistant and was just generally out of control.
Oddly enough, there's no recap of it on the site and they didn't replay the show again in the afternoon. It's like they're pretending it didn't happen. I like Artie and hope he gets some help. He needs it.
When I got in the car yesterday, just like every day after work, I turned on the radio to listen to the replay and was wondering why they were playing a show from Wednesday. I thought it was odd, but listening to Bubba - he said that it was Howard's call to pull the replay right now.
I'm worried that Artie is going to do something to himself. I also think he may be on drugs because of the rage he has. Who knows. I just hope he gets help.
