Jess.....So Bummed!!
So, your Shepard's Pie was in the oven and cooking, about 10 minutes left (I broiled if for the last 10 minutes because I like the top to get a little crispy--it came out good!) Anyways, so there was 10 minutes left, I was mixing ice tea, and all of a sudden, I'm so nauseous I couldn't stand it....yup, throwing up in the bathroom 10 minutes before dinner was ready. Kinda put a damper on my enjoyment of the dinner. I was so so so bummed!! I did have a small spoonful about 30 minutes later, but didn't enjoy it like I was hoping. Surprisingly though, DH said that he really liked it and even had seconds. I was shocked! I'm taking some for my lunch tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get to enjoy it more then. The recipe will stick with me for sure though, and I will make it again. Thanks for sharing!
