Should I return it?
I bought a bag of my favorite chocolates - the little Hershey dark chocolate nuggets with almonds - from Duane Reade at lunch and they're stale. They have that lighter-colored look and they're sort of brittle and have a weird aftertaste.
Is it worth the $3.79 to go back and return them? This would entail missing my train for the sake of good chocolate.

Honestly? I would. But I wouldn't miss my train. Do it tomorrow or another day.
Chocolate turns whitish when the temp changes dramatically. I could see it happening in winter but.. I think you might have a bad batch there.
