Hey! I saw your post below about IBS. I have IBS and have had it now off for years now. It will come and go, with I have flare ups when I am more stressed. I use to take medicine for it (I forget the name of it, but they discontinued it a few years ago) and the dr. called in a new prescription for me, but I hate taking medicine, so I try to go without it.
I have had a few colonoscopies as well, and its not pleasant but it helps the dr to see what is going on. There are different kinds of IBS. Some people go more often and others have more irregular cycles and dont go at all- that is me! I get backed up at times(TMI..sorry) and dont go for days on end. I get the bloating and all nine yards. As long as I am eating a good amount of fiber and drinking enough water (and stress-free...stress is huge part), it tends to stay under control. But there are times I have to use "assistance" to make things work.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Megan
Re: **Dee**
Thanks Megan! I definitely will be making an appointment. Years ago I had a partial colonoscopy (I was awake) and hated every minute of it lol!!
I think mine is just with the food I eat. But now it's anything healthy too.
