Has anyone been to this restaurant in East Haven? Friends of ours want to go tomorrow night and do the prix fixe menu. The pictures make it appear non-kid friendly. Is it?
Re: Bocca Restaurant - ?
oh oh oh! I've been there. I had my baby shower there.
I honestly dont see why you couldnt bring kids. Its super tiny, but its not a high class at all. Its in a little strip mall next to a bakery and dance studio.
Very inexpensive.
Its usually old people...and i'm guessing the prefix menu would def be the older crowd...errrr senior crowd.
I should add that across the street on the other side is senior housing,,,,,maybe thats why?
LOL- its sooooooooo NOT upscale at all. The owner tried to come across that way. I think his name is terry. anyhoo, he had a restarant somewhere out towards stamford area and one in cape cod or RI, nantucket or one of those little vaca spots.
The food was pretty good. I think the atmosphere may be a tad more quite than outback since its so small but i really dont see it being "upscale". Jeans are fine.
