WDYT of this e-mail to my MIL?

I know you didn't read what she wrote - but does this seem like a nice e-mail or can you tell that I'm desperately trying to turn this woman into someone positive? (Can you tell the last paragraph was very difficult to write and I nearly vomitted while I typed "Love, Jen"?)

Hi!

Thanks for the update.  Mike has been keeping me up to date with Gram, but he didn't mention your sister.  I'm sorry to hear about Regina.  Eventhough each of you have been touched by this terrible disease, you've all beat it and Regina will too.  I'll keep her in my thoughts.

Gram is an amazing woman.  For a 94 year old, Gram has come quite far in what I'd consider a short amount of time.  If you really think about it - she went from laying in a hospital bed on morphine to rehab and attending physical therapy and she's even on her way "home" in a few days.  And keep in mind that none of us like to exercise - so being dragged out of bed and being forced to do exercises can make even the happiest person grumpy!  :o)  We have to make sure that we always stay positive around Gram.  There have been a lot of studies done around the healing power of positive thinking - and there have been remarkable results from these studies.  Everything always has a way of working out for the best - even if it doesn't seem like it will at first.

Hope all else is well!  Hope to see you soon!  Hugs and Kisses from all of us...

Love,
Jen
