Summer plans yet?
Do you have travel plans this summer yet?
H and I have 2 weddings. One in Mississippi in May, which I'm only excited about because of a side journey to New Orleans, and another one in Chicago in July. That will probably top out our travel for this year, unfortunately. If H's biz starts to do well, we're talking about going to Turks or Caicos islands in the Carribean over the holidays. Mmmmmm.

This is all part of the travel before the bar and drinking the water plan combined with the blessing of having been with my company forever so I get a lot of PTO
Hells yeah, I'm counting that as part of my summer plans!

We're supposed to go to Sandpoint, ID for a week in July. I'm not at all outdoorsy, so I won't be crushed if we skip this trip.
Maybe Catalina for a few days.
Labor Day - We're trying to think of what to do to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We were thinking NYC, but I kind of just wanted to veg at the Four Seasons or the Island Hotel for the weekend.

Commanders in the Omni---I did lunch there and they have strong 25 cent martinis during the week very yummy food too
Mother's--standard fav V loved the crawfish ettofee (sp?)
Go to Pat O'Briens for a hurricane
Have drinks at the rotating bar at the Monteleone hotel
Cafe du monde for coffee with chickery and beignets
I'm sure there is more that I am forgetting but those were some of my favorite food memories of my trip
Washington D.C/ Northern VA towards the end of summer. Other than that, probably nothing except a few weekends in San Francisco.
I'm so jealousE of those of you heading to New Orleans. We were reminiscing about our trip at lunch. I already want to go back, just so I can eat more!
