JT has not been sleeping since his fever on Sunday. So in turn, I have not been sleeping. He goes down fine (by 8:30 or 9), but is up an hour later crying hysterically. I can calm him down (takes about 1/2 hour) & he falls back asleep for another hour (maybe 2) but then it starts all over again.
Last night we decided to just let him cry. Well after almost an hour, he started to heave & I was afraid he was going to make himself sick, so I went up.We ended up on the couch.
I think I have slept a total of 8 hours since this weekend & it is not cutting it. I found my self crying at some ungodly hour this morning b/c I didn't know what else to do.
Has anyone ever been though this? If you have, how did you get your DC to sleep again? At this point, I'll take any suggestions.
Re: I think I may lose it :(
You should have called me. I was up with Isabella at 1:30 and she wanted to play until 2:30 then fell asleep with me on the couch and was up again to play at 5:30.
Is he still not feeling well? Maybe he's not and that is why his schedule is off? I wonder if he's achy and if some Motrin before bed would help? I'm not normally into giving my child drugs - but sometimes I find that it's very difficult to tell if they don't feel well and it helps a ton.
I wish I had better advice - how is he during the day?
I hope that you get some sleep soon - there is nothing worse than not getting enough sleep - I've been there too many times myself - so I completely understand!

These are the two things that keep Jillie up.
