Made an offer on a house!
Please keep your fingers crossed for us! We made an offer on a house in Norwalk last night. I'm so nervous and dying to hear the seller's reaction. The offer was a little on the low side (we and our agent think it's overpriced based on comps), so I hope he wasn't shocked or insulted... I'm sure we'll find out either way today. Wish us luck!!
Re: Made an offer on a house!
Our first offer was on the low side, too. The asking price was $219,900 and we offered $207k with the seller paying the closing costs. After a couple of counters, we agreed on $218k with the seller paying the closing costs. We were willing to pay asking price, but this is even better because we'll have that cash to remodel the kitchen.
So, you never know what might happen!
Good luck!!
LOVE your siggy pics!! Amazing! I'm jealous!
Thanks ladies. It's KILLING me that we haven't heard anything back yet and it's only 10:30. This could end up being a very, very long day!
Our last (almost) home purchase fell through after sharing pics with all our friends and family, so we're keeping tight lips this time around. We haven't even told friends or fam about the offer, but I just had to let that out on here!
Totally understand! Just keep us posted. Postivie vibes coming your way!
