ww question

is it ok to bring a child to the meetings or no?

Re: ww question

  • My center has a special meeting called Mom and Me.  I went to a different meeting today and was the only one with a child.  Maybe see if you have a similar meeting?  Also, if your child will sit quietly for the whole meeting, I don't think its a big deal.
  • my first leader told me it was fine, better to bring the kid than make an excuse not to go.  As long as they aren't really disruptive it should be fine.  If they have a meltdown, you leave.  You can always just go weigh in and leave, you don't have to stay for the meetings.  Or you can look for a center with a Mom & Me program.  The one in Hamden has it, and so does Wallingford.
