So im working from home today since Tuck was sick.  I'm on a conference call with some people from work. Jake got us food from wendys so when he got home with it, i put the phone on speaker so i could put it down and eat. Well, i open my hamburger and yell to jake "did you forget to tell them no lettuce??" and the people on the phone go "what was that beth?".

OMG! I didnt realize that when i switched it to speaker it took it off mute. HOW EMBARRASSING!!!!

HA!  Oh, it could be worse.  When I was an intern at a huuuuuge company in NY I was on a conference call meeting/presentation with about 30 other people, and someone forgot to mute their line.  Someone was walking by her desk asked her if she was listening to so-and-so's presentation....her response was "Yeah, but omg, it's sooooooooo boring..."  The guy presenting stopped talking mid-sentence and asked if anyone on the line needed instructions on how to mute their phone.  I felt so bad for the guy!
