Just wanted to say congrats. Question for you, when you are BFing your 1year old, do her teeth hurt you? also, can you BF 2 children at the same time...just curious.

Re: **Spencer!**
Usually BFing during pg gets pretty uncomfortable, but I know she's not ready to wean yet, so I'll keep on trucking. I plan to tandem BF. Most likely, I'll give each their own breast....if you always give the toddler one breast and the baby the other, the body can actually adjust and make age appropriate milk for each child on the different sides. Pretty amazing!
The short answer? When she's ready to stop. I anticipate it may be around 4 years old.
BUT before you gasp in amazement at that thought, most 2 year olds and older are only nursing maybe once or twice a day, usually at bedtime and/or first thing in the morning.
I actually learned a LOT about BFing from iVillage, as well as going to La Leche League meetings. I'm thinking about becoming a LLL leader
My original goal was a year, but I've been convinced of the benefits of extended BFing, so I'm just going with the flow. At this point, it's not like it's actually work. I don't pump any more, so it's just being there to lift my shirt
