Milwaukee-ish seamstress?

Okie dokie, now that we know we are having a girl - I am ready to do something with my wedding dress that's still sitting in the closet!

I have been holding out to have a baptism gown made with it.

Has anyone done this and who would you recommend? I'd like to use someone locally, but I have seen places online that do it to, so I'll take those rec's as well!

Oh yeah, if you did this, do you have pics you could share?

 Thanks!

Re: Milwaukee-ish seamstress?

  • Becky's custom sewing in Bayview.   She is very talented.  I am still a bit upset I didn't use her for my wedding.  To top it off i found out a few months ago she is my mom's friend from high school.  Do not use Caron's in Stonewood village.  She has no clue what she is doing. She did damage to my dress that not repairable.

  • I know a great lady in Waukesha, I've been using her for stuff since high school.  She made a dress for me, altered my wedding dress and other dresses.  I didn't have her do a baptismal gown, but I'm SURE she can do it and do it beautifully!
