Can we talk Biggest Loser (spoilers)?

While the show was all filler last night, I was thrilled with the girls' results!  Yay!  I actually got a little teary when Kelly made it...no one thought she could, including her.  That was a special moment.

I find it quite unfair that they didn't let the girls vote for who will be eliminated.  I hope America gets the vote right!

Re: Can we talk Biggest Loser (spoilers)?

  • How awesome was that when the girls made it?  I was like take that Roger - you sucktastic Good Ole Boy!
  • Riot, that's exactly what I thought!  I have always liked Roger, but he seemed like such a shoo-in that I really wanted him to fall from grace.  Isn't that mean?

  • No, its not mean.  He is a cocky SOB.  I hope he gorges himself on his momma's pepper steak when he gets home.

I'm totally voting this week, by the way.

I also tried to look into their new meal plan online last night and the site was totally jammed with usage.  It was hilarious.  What little I did find out is that its crazy expensive.  $100 for 5 days of food.  Bah.
  • I should mention I also very anti-Dan for the same reasons.

Pride on three, pride on three.

    :)
  • Argh, pride on three.....I hate that!  I will say I was hoping Roger would win one of the $$ challenges so he can replace that missing tooth.

    I voted last night.

How's the diet going?  Mine is ok...I need to continue to step it up, but I'm still losing slowly and steadily.  I'm considering doing the Biggest Loser Club instead of WW.  Not the meal plan, though...that is too much money!

  • The diet is going pretty well, I'm about 5lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I'd like to drop another 20-30 beyond that.  I do allow myself to cheat for at least one meal every weekend so that's slowing me down but its also making it easier to stick with it (that was a tip from none other than Bob Harper.)

I might have to look into the Biggest Loser plan.  Is it easy?
  • It's basically calories in, calories out with a heavy emphasis on veggies, fruit, and lean protein.  Not  much different than WW, but I'm finding that the points are letting me cheat a little too often!

I have cheat meals on the weekends, too....I try to keep it to Saturday night dinner.

I'm 2 lbs away from my pre-pg weight, but also have 20-30 to go afterwards.  Sometimes it feels insurmountable!

  • i can't decide if I want to vote for Roger or Mark to move ahead. Mark's really annoyed me all along with his crying, but as he pointed out last night: his emotions had been trapped behind the weight & everything's just coming out now. Of course, now I feel bad for making fun of his blubbering. Roger's been pretty cocky, but he's lost 144 lbs. He has the right to be cocky, plus he's gonna need that $250k for plastic surgery to remove all the loose skin (esp. those man boobs)

I am beyond thrilled that both of the women made it through to the finals. They deserve it!
  • Aw, you guys...I love Roger. I feel like he hasn't played any annoying cards the whole time. And I love how he says little, but when he does say something, it really packs a punch.

Psyched for the ladies, obviously. I cannot BELIEVE how much weight they all lost in a week. It almost seemed not true.

I was psyched for the trainers, too. Obviously, they have done their jobs well.
