WWYD? Re: late wedding video...

Have you tried calling him also??  That is frustrating....hope things work out.  If I were you I would think about looking into the Better Business Bureau if you don't hear back soon!  Good luck!

Re: WWYD? Re: late wedding video...

  • Have you tried to call him or has all of your communication been via email?  It sounds like you have been more than patient up until this point.  I would continue to call until I spoke to him.  And then perhaps look into legal action (or at least having my imposter lawyer friend contact him to scare him).
  • Wow, that really stinks! I can appreciate not wanting to piss him off because you still want a nice video.

I think your last email was very appropriate. I would follow up with phone calls until you speak with him directly. Also, try to find your contract and see what it says. If he's failed to hold up his end of the bargain, then not only does he owe you your video but he should also compensate you in some way...probably a refund of some sort.

The longer it takes from here on out, the more I would call.

Good luck, I hope you get your video!
  • I would try calling and leaving messages.   For some reason people tend to respond faster to calls than emails in my experience.  You are totally w/in your rights to ask what is going on, 6 months is totally ridiculous.  I don't know what to tell you other than keep calling until you hear from him, you've been more than patient.  I understand about not wanting him to rush through finishing it so that it isn't as good as it would have been, but he should at LEAST be giving you a status update on why it is so late and agree to some sort of completion plan and delivery date.  He owes you that.
