Baby shower- what to get?
I have my cousins baby shower Saturday. Most of the stuff on her registry has been bought. I'm not sure what to get her. I wanted to try to make a diaper cake....has anyone done this, is it easy?? What kind of things should i put on it?
TIA!
Re: Baby shower- what to get?
This was mine from my shower a few weeks ago.. there are some binkies on it.. the bottom has washclothes, and different little toys.. they used size 2 diapers so I could keep it togethor for a while if I wanted I've seen ones that has like soap, shampoo etc attached to it.. seems pretty easy to make just alot of work, diapers and ribbon
Diaper cakes are cute, but a lot of work to take apart. (At least the way my friend made it- every diaper was taped!)
I second jammies/ sleep 'n plays. Any size. I didn't get a lot of those, but they were great for when you're home with the baby and don't feel like putting on another cute outfit to have spit up all over it!
Diapers- I got none and they are expensive. A big box of pampers is about $37 at BRU.
Cute bibs- the Carters thick ones are about $5 each, but worth it!
Books. Write a little message inside. TJ Maxx has the Sandra Boynton board books for about $4. They are cute. They also have other books.
