If you love your job. Post here and why
I love my job because my department is known as THE best department in my office.
I also love my job because I'm getting paid good money to do something I love to do which is project work
I'm in a really good mood today!
:D:D
Re: If you love your job. Post here and why
I also get to basically make my own hours and come and go as I please, which is awesome. I've only been working 10 hours a week lately because I wanted to focus on school, and it's not a problem at all. I could see myself working there for a very long time.
I love my job (most days!) because it is so amazing to see the growth each child makes in first grade. They come in, for the most part, as non-readers and by the end of the year they can read chapter books and write stories! It truly is amazing, and rewarding!
Other perks of my job:
- Daily hugs
- Opportunities to be creative
- Being a kid again - lots of off-key singing!
- Snow days, holidays, and the summer off!
I hate my current job but I love my current internship and my future job.
I am interning in a middle school as a remedial math teacher. I love it because I love the kids and staff. I like helping the kids improve their math skills and I like talking to them throughout the day. They are so much fun.
My future job is an elementary school teacher. I can't wait to get my own classroom! I am truly excited about "playing" with kids all day . J/k, I know we have to work too but I like being around kids. They just understand the world on such a different level than us.
I love my job because it's interesting, varied, rewarding, motivational and has great people. I work for an international NGO, writing, editing and doing the odd creative bit. I work with people all over the world and have had the opportunity to go to some very interesting places. I genuinely feel like I'm helping people and that helps me get through the inevitable bad day.
Now that I'm a mom, I'm working part-time, and I couldn't be happier.
So I guess I'll live through you...though it's just not the same .
Other bonuses.....
*working with other like minded people that are truly in it for the kids.
*Getting new and excting ideas from other teachers.
*Summer vacation and snow days!! (had to throw that one in)
