If you love your job. Post here and why

I love my job because my department is known as THE best department in my office.

I also love my job because I'm getting paid good money to do something I love to do which is project work :D
I'm in a really good mood today! :D:D:D

Re: If you love your job. Post here and why

  • I wish I loved my job as much as you do.  I like what I do, but I don't get paid enough and there is too work and no support.
  • ohhhhhhhhhh I'll be watching this post ....... .
  • I'm a teacher. I love it. I'm in touch with my inner child all day, everyday!
  • I love my job because I work with really smart, really accomplished people. I started out as a volunteer because I wanted to badly to work at this place, and they ended up hiring me.

I also get to basically make my own hours and come and go as I please, which is awesome. I've only been working 10 hours a week lately because I wanted to focus on school, and it's not a problem at all. I could see myself working there for a very long time.

  • I love my job (most days!) because it is so amazing to see the growth each child makes in first grade. They come in, for the most part, as non-readers and by the end of the year they can read chapter books and write stories! It truly is amazing, and rewarding!

    Other perks of my job:
    - Daily hugs
    - Opportunities to be creative
    - Being a kid again - lots of off-key singing!
    - Snow days, holidays, and the summer off!

  • 9 days out of 10 I love my job - mostly because its fast paced and I ma never bored. I have killer vaca (6 weeks) I get pretty regular bonuses and the pay is good. I also work with really fun accountable people.....I only have to deal with stupidity on occasion and almost NEVER from our team.
  • I hate my current job but I love my current internship and my future job.

I am interning in a middle school as a remedial math teacher.  I love it because I love the kids and staff.  I like helping the kids improve their math skills and I like talking to them throughout the day.  They are so much fun.

My future job is an elementary school teacher.  I can't wait to get my own classroom!  I am truly excited about "playing" with kids all day :).  J/k, I know we have to work too but I like being around kids.  They just understand the world on such a different level than us.

  • I love my job as the head of the math dept in a high school.  I teach (only 3 classes!) and make decisions that impact students and teachers.  I try to support my teachers as much as possible.  Someone recently told me I was the best boss she ever worked for.  That made me feel great.
  • I love my job because it's interesting, varied, rewarding, motivational and has great people.  I work for an international NGO, writing, editing and doing the odd creative bit.  I work with people all over the world and have had the opportunity to go to some very interesting places.  I genuinely feel like I'm helping people and that helps me get through the inevitable bad day.

    Now that I'm a mom, I'm working part-time, and I couldn't be happier.

  • I love my Job! All my clients are babies and toddlers, I get to play all day, I drive around with a car full of therapy toys, My boss likes me and my co-workers are really nice people...all in all I lucked out (not to say there arent bad days but most of the time its fun)
  • Funny.......... you guys that LOVE your job are all teachers ( with an exception or two here) and I had to wait until I was 32 to figure out that,  that is something I would love to do. A time in my life where I HAVE to work...and have no time for schooling to get there ! :-(
So I guess I'll live through you...though it's just not the same .
  • I have a total love hate relationship with my job.  It's a super fast paced environment.  My day is every changing.  I go from managing my team members to jumping in and doing the actual design and development of sites and it's a wonderful balance.  The added bonus of trips to Florida for work and working form home also make it much better.
  • Photographer. Love it. Love IT! I need the flexibility being a mom, but I absolutely love the creative aspect! It's my outlet. I'm in sales and customer service, so I am the front-end and back-end of the business. It's a job where I'm constantly learning so I am never, ever bored. I go to different places, and each couple is different. I love it, love it!! Each year I am growing (and becoming better) and as a person (a mom, a wife)--- it defines who I am. I need that. :-)
  • I love my job because I work with the most amazing, accomplished, professional group of people I've ever met.  The organization is incredibly good to its employees - we get paid very well and have a lot of perks - like free tuition for DD (or future children) when she's ready.  And above  it all, I do very rewarding work - I help really deserving girls get an education that is second to none.  One nice story - one of the first students I got a scholarship for is off to Harvard next year.  I hope to be here for a long, long time.
  • I am a Kindergarten teacher and most days I love my job!!  I love watching children blossom and grow in a matter of a few months, I love to see the look on there face when a concept I have been teaching clicks , I love(at Open House) when partents tell me that they don't believe that there child will read by the middle of the year and then they are AMAZED when their child brings home a book to read. I love watching children interact with one another and problem solve together....I love to help children learn what it means to be epathetic towards others.  I can go on and on......
    Other bonuses.....
*working with other like minded people that are truly in it for the kids.
*Getting new and excting ideas from other teachers.
*Summer vacation and snow days!! (had to throw that one in)
