Hey - saw your response to the post about the 0-6 month board.  Just wanted to let you know that Sydney JUST started rolling over about two weeks ago.  She's 8 months today.

I was freaking out about the fact that she wasn't rolling over.  I posted on the parenting board and got the worst responses - everything from my kid rolled over at 6 weeks to suggestions to call the birth to 3 program because of developmental delays.  Seriously - I kept asking my doc about it and they said she was totally fine.  Don't worry about the milestones - there is a HUGE window for "normal" and also it is possible that a baby can just skip something all together.

Moral of the story - don't go on any other board to read about babies!  lol.  There is a toddler moms board that is really nice and the moms on there seem to be much more real about their babies (compared to the baby boards on the nest.)

  • ditto Jen!

  • LOL. Those boards should come with a warning post!!

I brought it up at DS's 6 mo appt and his pedi just told me that every baby is on their own individual developmental program and apparently DS's doesn't involve rolling over just yet. :o)
