Orange area - manicure/pedicure/massage???

Looking for a nice spa in Orange or nearby.  Its for a 7 mo. pregnant woman.  Would like a place that is nice and relaxing.

TIA!

Re: Orange area - manicure/pedicure/massage???

  • I know this may not be exactly what you are looking for but I've used an AWESOME massage therapist over the years and love her. She works out of the JCC in Woodbridge. I think the charge is $80 for non-members. I've gotten dozens of massages from her and she really knows her stuff. She does pg massage too. Her name is Shelley. If you're looking for a spa package type thing I've gone to By The Sea in Branford. The massage therapists are just ok though. If I think of anything closer to Orange I'll page you.
  • I like Spaworld on the Post rd in Orange for manicures and pedicures. I have never had a massage there though.
  • I second SpaWorld for a mani and pedi. very relaxing, tranquil atmosphere.
  • I also recommend SpaWorld for mani/pedi. They are great there.

  • I had a bad experience at Spa World. I go to Pampered Touch, in the Trader Joe's Plaza. It is so nice and peaceful in there, I have never had a bad mani/pedi.
  • Not a fan of SpaWorld myself.  For a mani/pedi I like Liz's Nails near DSW and for massage I love Glam Spa across from Hiyama.
  • I had two friends leave in the middle of massages at Spa World. (The place next to Cold Stone, sorta). I would try a salon if you are looking for upscale. I can't think of one off the top of my head but I will think about it. ")
