Usually a lurker...but have a daycare question and
I need your ladies help. How did you start the process and if you could recommend any in the Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Middletown area would be so helpful. Thank you in advance for helping a lurker out )
Re: Usually a lurker...but have a daycare question and
I'm not in the area, but I did use the website www.infoline.org We use an in- home daycare. The site lists centers and in home and is statewide.
Good luck!
I've heard good things about Kiddie World.
I know Northwest Childrens center in Cromwell has a great reputation, but I don't know what age they start with.
There is a Bright Horizons in Middletown, they have a good center. The director is very good and the center is well cared for.
As for Kindercare...I looked into them when Anthony was 7 mo. I didn't like them, but it was a personal preference. They use baby swings and when I told them the trouble I had w/ Anthony sleeping in them and requested they NOT use it, the girl said "Oh, we'll only use it if he's really fussy" ... that right there was enough to make my decision. Again- just a personal thing...but if an interviewing parent requests something and you can't comply...then what's it gonna be like when I'm sending him there full time.
Good luck!
