How early to get to Bradley?

We're leaving for Florida tomorrow am. I haven't flown in years. Do you still have to get there 2 hours early? Or has it settled down a bit?

Re: How early to get to Bradley?

  • I usually aim for 90 minutes, or less. I try to make sure I am in hte check in queu at least 60 minutes ahead - 60-90. 2 hrs is overkill at an a/p like bradley nowadays - small and efficient.

  • An hour and a half should be fine.  I usually get there 2 hours early b/c I'm neurotic and end up sitting at the gate for an hour and a half.
  • We aim for 90 but have been there 45 min prior and still been ok.   Depends on the airline. Usairways, United and American practically have their own security, so those are quicker, but the others all funnel through one so it takes longer.   We try to get to parking 90 min prior and then we are fine.
