1. Do you think it's okay to stay home from work due to bad PMS?
2. Have you ever called out for this reason?
3. What do you take for excruciating cramps?
4. Moms, does PMS get better/worse after kids?
Re: PMS Poll
1. If you suffer from SEVERE PMS, as diagnosed by a Dr...then yes. Not just b/c you feel super b*tchy and don't want to face the world.
2. Not for PMS, but for AF's yes. It's hard for people to understand just how bad these things can be unless they have experienced it.
3. I have an Rx from my gyno...if they aren't "that" bad, I take Midol.
4. my PMS was the same...but it's never been bad. AF's got better for a few months after they returned and then were just as bad if not worse after a while.
1. Do you think it's okay to stay home from work due to bad PMS? Not unless you have a migraine or lack control of bodily functions (which I know can happen)
2. Have you ever called out for this reason? Yes, I will tell you that becoming a mom has changed my threshold for what consititutes a sick day. (LOL)
3. What do you take for excruciating cramps? I used to take prescription/high does Motrin. But I have taken 4 Advil before. And I found a tea "Women's Liberty" by Traditional Medicinals, that seemed to really help.
4. Moms, does PMS get better/worse after kids? Substantially better. I hardly feel cramps, though some months I still get a debilitating headache (the tea works, though).
3. What do you take for excruciating cramps? Advil and a banana. I used to have a perscription that was really expensive, but after some research I found out it was just potassium and ibprofrin. So an Advil and a Banana and my camps are gone.
4. Moms, does PMS get better/worse after kids? Don't know, no kids yet.
1. No
2. No
3. I get them really bad and I get really sick to my stomach. I use the disposable heating pads and take tylenol.
4. The same... Although I haven't gotten it get since having Ryan...

3. What do you take for excruciating cramps? I don?t usually get really bad ones, but I do like to run b/c that seems to help
4. Moms, does PMS get better/worse after kids? NA
2. Yes, when I was younger. I could barely walk I was in so much pain. I called out for the morning while I drugged myself up.
3. Ibuprofen, have taken pamprin. Haven't had excruciating cramps in a long time (on the pill for a few years), now starting with cramps again.

2. Have you ever called out for this reason? heck no
3. What do you take for excruciating cramps? I usually just suffer through, Im kinda anti meds weirdly. Mine are rarely excruciating though (I get more back pain) but I have taking whatever we have at work in the past, and a heating pad and lots of water helps too
4. Moms, does PMS get better/worse after kids? n/a
I can say mine is way better on nuvaring than it was on the patch/pill though
1. Normally I would say no but if you're just going to come in and make my life a living he**, please stay home!
2. Nope
3. Motrin but they aren't bad when I'm on the pill.
4. n/a
1. Normally no, but if you are throwing up or having a horible headache that will not go away with meds, then yes.
2. Nope
3. Luckly, I haven't had bad cramps since before I was on bcp. When I'd have cramps, I'd have a migraine too, so I'd take excerdrine, put a heading pad on and hope that it got better in a little bit.
