My Yesterday
I competed in a chili contest - out of 17 entries - I placed 16th 
. It was a fun afternoon & I will do it again next year for sure. There were some great chilis there, but it all comes down to popluarity & the mroe ppl yoiu bring to vote the better off you are.
We picked up the boys afterwards & JT was not feeling well. He kept saying he had a boo-boo belly. When we got home his temp was 103.5. I started to freak out. Gave him some motrin & tried to give a cool bath but he did not want anything to do with the water. He finally fell asleep with me in our bed around 9 @ which time the temp was down to 102. @ 11 I gave him another dose of motrin & woke up to him talking in his sleep around 3 - soaking wet. I am assuming it was the fever breaking b/c when he woke @ 6:30 he was fine. Acting like himself again & no fever (temp was 98.4).
What a scary night though. I am glad he is feeling better this morning. He is home with Nana & Papa today though, just in case.
