Hi Ladies- I've only started recently posting, but have been lurking for some time...I am in complete and total shock. I just took two pregnancy tests and both came back positive. I'm shocked (can I say that again?), happy, scared...literally everything. I honestly don't know what to do next. This was our first month of...well let's see what happens and I truly did not expect this. It's a complete and total blessing but I'm just totally, totally shocked. I could use some support or words of wisdom, or anything right about now...
Re: Total Shock..BFP
6/14/10 BFP; 6/30/10 Dx ectopic
11/16/10 BFP #2; DD born 7/26/11
Congratulations!
Congrats, H&H 9 months!!
Hi,
My BFP was also a shock. DH and I had tried for 1 month, then got lazy about it the second month and all of a sudden, I got a BFP! I was shocked as well! Call your doctor, make an appointment and take it from there. And please don't let everything make you crazy. I read all these books and they scared the s*%t out of me. Happy and healthy 9 months and if you need anything, this is the place to come to. All of the women on this board are amazing, supportive people.
Megan
So who are you??
Congrats - wishing you a very H&H 9 months!!!
When I got my BFP, I was also in shock! I just went off the pill, and we were even really *trying* yet. We just got lucky on the first shot ;-)
I almost fainted and my DH was jumping up and down like a little kid. My best advice right now is to enjoy this time with your DH, it really is a blessing.
Thank you again for the sweet words. It means a lot. Wow.. this is not the night I thought it was going to be!!
What a wonderful surprise! Congratulations!
Tomorrow, call your OBGYN's office and let them know you got a positive home pregnancy test and they'll tell you what to do next.
I also got pregnant our first cycle trying and I was so surprised. It didn't feel real for many weeks. It's a wonderful ride- enjoy it!
I'll admit I've lurked on this board, but have been well, timid, about posting. But now...I don't want to tell anyone
(except of course dh) about this until we have some more confirmation and it's sunk in a bit more.
wow, congratulations!!! Just take it one step at a time, you'll be fine!! There are tons of wise moms on this board, so i'm sure you'll get great advice!
