Racing fans...help me understand...
I was just watching the news and there was breaking news that a racecar driver was killed today in Thompson, CT. They basically cleaned up the mess, the cororner picked up the body, made an announcement, and finished the rest of the day's races.
I'm dumbfounded.

I can't imagine sticking around after that! But I will say some of my family is quite addicted to NASCAR and racing in general. My BIL actually considered going to the track today instead of going to pick his wife and newborn son up at Yale New Haven. I wish I was joking. Luckily, he had a change of heart! (I could go on and on!)
