Re: If you had a big wad of cash....

  • Portugal.  I do not think it would be my ideal vacation, but because K is Portuguese and has never been there I'd love to take her.

  • England/Scotland/Ireland.  C and I daydream about this trip!  We've both been to some places in all three countries and are dying to get back and really spend some time in each one.

Runner up: Spain.  That's second on our must-travel list.

  • The UK and a cruise to Greece.
  • I have a long list

Ireland - I've been promising L we can go when she finishes her PhD (2011)

London/England - I went in college and would love to go back.

R Family cruise - not because I am dying to go on a cruise - but because I think it would give us a nice balance of alone time and family time. We could hang out/relax alone while the kids were in the kids activities. And then we can do things together as a family.

Maine - All of my family is from Maine and I spent every summer there. I would love to go back and rent a cottage on a lake (when the kids are older) so they can swim, boat, waterski, etc. There are a lot of great family camps up there (see above about alone time/kid time.)

Italy - I've always wanted to go.

  • New Zealand. Jen has always wanted to go there and she has convinced me too :) And I've always wanted to go to one of those tropical places with the bright blue water and the overwater bungalows. There must be one somewhere around NZ so we'll go there too while we're on the other side of the planet.?
