Hey Allie-
I'm scrolling through posts on D&R to catch up on what I've missed and saw your post about your kitchen cabinets...
I think your cabinets would look great painted white. I used SW's Medici Ivory (PIB) and I absolutely love the end result. It's a bit of work but its not difficult just tedious.
I removed the hardware then sanded the door panels with a palm sander before cleaning up from the sanding, then primed the fronts and backs, before painting with the final color. I used foam rollers to paint using SW's Proclassic paint which is their cabinet and trim paint. It's extremely durable and self-leveling which makes it nice to work with.
I hope this info helps!!

Hey Allie-
No I didn't. I did paint the inside of the door panels but I left the insides of the cabinets natural. If I had a paint sprayer or if I was going to use some of the cabinets as open shelving (like on The Lettered Cottage blog) then I would of painted the insides. I worked on it for a few hours a couple nights after work then I worked most of a Friday and Saturday on it. I was done in about 4-5 days total and that's with one person doing most of the work. Just let me know if you have any other questions!!
