Has anyone been watching Lost? What do you think of the season so far?
Where (or when?) do you think Daniel is? I am ready for a Daniel centered episode!
Re: Lost *spoilers*
This season has been interesting. Next episode looks good. And I am wondering what happened to Desmond! It is killing me!
And where did Daniel go???
The last we saw Desmond was when he stormed off at the Lamp Post (the church basement). After that we see Ben all bloody at what looked like a marina. Some people think that Ben attempted to kill Penny (part of his promise to Charles W.), but I think for that to be true Ben would have had to fly to London (the last place we know they had their boat and where I presume Penny was) and then back to LA. Desmond would have had to fly to LA in that time frame, there is no way they sailed there.
I am not sure how Desmond fits back into what is going on now. He was the reason that the plane crashed (by releasing energy from the Swan) and he was the reason they were rescued (by calling Penny). I think for him to get back to the island he would have to sail there since that is how he originally came to the island. Who knows if we will see him show up on a boat. The only flaw my logic there is that Ben was on the plane and he did not get there via the plane crash (and I think he arrived via submarine in the 1970's).
I am not sure where Daniel is. He comes off as unorganized, so Dr. Chang's complaint about the other side being organized could be a hint that Daniel is on the mainland Dharma office. His timeline confuses me. I think his mother (Eloise Hawking) was the Ellie with the gun when they were on the island in 1950's with the H-bomb. She looked to be in her early 20's. I am not good with ages, but Daniel seems to be in his late 20's/early 30's? So he would have to have been born in the 1970's. I suppose Eloise could have had him in her 40's. Anyhow, another tangent, I think his father is Charles Widmore. Assuming Eloise did not leave the island before then, Widmore was there in the 1970's we just have not seen him yet. Or he could have been born at another time and has time traveled already or I have his age wrong.
Richard also fascinates me. I think he is Egyptian, I LOVE that they finally acknowledged his eye liner. The hieroglyphs have to tie into the island somehow, maybe the staute too. I also think that he is like John Locke and Christian Shepard, he came to the island dead and was resurrected. That might help to explain why he doesn't age and is really old. Christian Shepard finally touched something so he seems to be a physical being. What I don't get is that Jacob speaks through him and how Richard is related to Jacob, if at all.
Where/when do you think Rose and Bernard are? I like them and I hope they are ok. The Others that went to the Temple (including 2007 Richard) should also still be on the island.
Do you think that the 1970's picture with some of the 2004 Losties was on the island the entire time or did the time line change? You think the Others would have ripped the Dharma emblem off of the door.
Where do you think they buried the bomb? Could it have something to do with the energy release in the Swan? Is it still hanging around?
Enough of my endless questions, time to go to bed.
Another question I'm wondering is what timeframe is Sun in? Because she shows up and the camp is empty so it doesn't seem to be the same time frame that Jin and everyone else are in.
I think that Ben did do something to Desmond and Penny because I'm almost positive they sailed their boat to where Desmond had to go into where Daniel's mother was. I don't think they left their boat in London, because Penny said wherever you go we will go.
Remember the picture of Hurley, Jack and Kate that Sun looked at in the barracks. Sun appears to be in present day with the other passengers, thus the reason that no one on the island saw the plane crash.
I'm not sure about Desmond and Penny sailing to LA. It seems that that is what they are implying by Penny saying she would go but I agree with Jen that I'm not sure about the timing whether they could have actually sailed there, but that is the speculation that Ben went to the marina because Penny was there.
It will be interesting to see where Desmond is. I hope he and Penny are all right.
Daniel is still a mystery. Your logic seems right but considering we have seen him on the island at different times, I'm not sure what the deal is. At one point, I considered that the baby that Dr. Chang had at the beginning of one of the episodes might even be Miles.
I love the Richard and Jacob/Christian stories.
I still have many questions but at least I feel like the story line is moving forward.
What do you think about Juliet and baby Ethan. Obviously she knows who Ethan will become so that is interesting.
I think you are correct about Miles. And I think Desmond and Penny are ok.
Is it next Wednesday yet??
Adding to my dead theory - Ben and Charles W. are dead/reborn? Ben can't kill Charles, could it be because they are both already dead? What do you think? According to Ms. Hawking (when she was talking to Desmond) you can't mess with time, what is meant to happen will happen. So, could this be meant to be or Jack will save him (again).
