Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hello!!
I just want to say that things here are wonderful, I truly couldnt imagine them being any better!!! The day I posted (Dh was home from work hungover) turned out to be not so bad. He emailed me, and surprisingly us talking over email was much more productive than in person. We could both say what was on our minds, listen, and take time to resond rather than firing back hurtful things at one another.
Long story short he promised things would change, but I was still apprehensive. I wanted to make sure that I was doing what was best for D, and asap. I started counselling myself to try to get all my thoughts in order. I was overwhelmed with going back to work and leaving D, and feeling like I was doing all the work at home. I have made myself step back (I am a control freak) and given Dh more responsiblity. I didnt want to give up any of my time with D, but Dh desperately needed alone time with him too inorder for them to bond.
Dh has been home every weekend, and had a couple beers, but nothing like before. We have an amazing little boy who melts our hearts everyday, and we both more than anything just want to be there for him.
