I have another resume question for you! :)

I'm writing cover letters for each school district that requires a hard-copy application. One of them had two positions listed on their website, so my introductory sentence was:

"I am writing in response to two elementary education teaching positions posted on your district?s website."

How do you recommend beginning a letter to a district that doesn't have any specific jobs posted yet; I am simply putting in my application for consideration once positions do open up?

again... thanks for all of your help with this lately! :)

Re: I have another resume question for you! :)

  • "I am writing to apply for upcoming elementary education positions within blank district"

If I understand it, that is what you are doing.  I would put in a second application once the postings are up, one that is a little more specific.  But, it doesn't hurt to put in your ap. before hand.
I applied for jobs at Columbus before they had any posted, and I was actually interviewed firstof all the out of district people because of it.
