Dermatologist recommendations

The husband needs to go see a dermatologist and mine is too far away for him to see during the work week. He is looking for one in the downtown vacinity (German Village, campus area, Grandview, Clintonville, etc.). Thanks for any suggestions in advance!

I see Dr. Hicks-Graham at Downtown Dermatology, which is right by Grant Hospital and the library. I really like her, but the office tends to get really backed up -- I tend to wait a long time for appointments. Not sure if the other doctor in the practice does his schedule differently. So there's a half-hearted recommendation!

I was told when I went to see the dermatologist the other day that C-bus has a shortage of dermatologist, so getting into any of them is a pain, and waiting is pretty normal.  I see one on Henderson, so I doubt that referral would be a help.

I meant waiting in the actual office -- if my appt is at 11, for example, I sit there until at least 11:30 or later until I actually get to see the doctor.

yeah that is what I meant too...they are always overbooked because their aren't enough of them.

Well, that's disappointing then -- I was hoping I could eventually switch offices and not have to wait. Oh well.

I go to Kelly Zynewicz (sp?) in Westerville.  Maybe not too convenient, and it is pretty hard to get an appt.

Dr Kelly Zyniewicz is no longer accepting new patients, I know b/c I just tried to get an appt with her today. The receptionist said that her partner is Dr Jess DeMaria (male) is excellent so I scheduled an appt with him, but his first available was June 24th. Their website it cohskin.com, they have several locations so one might work best for you.
