Crafty nesties- ideas needed!
In a few weeks, we're having a small baby shower for our college roommate who is in the process of adopting a baby. One of the girls came up with an idea to write notes to the baby to let her know how excited we were and how much she was loved before she even got here.
We're trying to think of a creative way to put together the notes. There will only be 5 of us, so a regular-sized journal would be too big. I was thinking of maybe putting together a small book with scrapbook paper. Has anyone done this before or have ideas on how to arrange/bind the notes or specific materials to use/avoid?
Thanks!

i like pp's idea! i'm doing something similar with my preschool class right now:) tomorrow they each get a white fabric square and will get to draw a self portrait. if you're interested, i can check back and let you know how it goes:)
another idea is to get one of those smaller photo albums, with just 10 or so pages and on one side put a photo of each of you and on the opposite page put your note. (although the first page would be a single... maybe a cover? so you would need for it to be at least 12 pages to be sure there are enough for all 5 of you).
Love Cassie's idea. For Kole's first birthday (my first son) I cut rather large squares of fabric and had everyone that attended his party use white pant to leave their handprint and a note on their square. I then sewed it together to make a quilt.
You may wish to use chipboard (cardboard essentially) to make a little book. You can punch holes and use ribbon to bind the book.
