XP: Mom's night out frustrations
I love that my husband stays home with the kids while I take a night out but sometimes it's more trouble than it's worth.
Last night he let the girls eat dinner in the family room. So food is smeared all over the carpet. This morning I came down to an ant party feeding on whatever substance it was.
He let Ruby pour the entire bottle of bubble bath in the bathtub. Her skin is so dry and flaky now that I had to cake on lotion this morning. (not to mention that we have no special princess bubble bath for tonight which will surely incite riots unless I go buy some more before tonights bath)
He let Ruby wear her fancy dresses and forgot to remind her to use the bathroom so she had accidents in 2 of them (meaning she peed all over them and now I have to clean them)
The house (which was already a slight wreck) was in complete shambles when I got home. Including food left on Violet's high chair tray that is now petrified and stuck to it. I believe it has turned into cement.
