XP: Oh good lord!

If my house is a mess for book club tongiht, it is because I just came in to the nursery to find Jack dancing in his crib, sans pants AND diaper.

And he had pooped.

Between this and the dentist I haven't had a free moment today. They had shots this am and we always have to be there for 1.5-2 hours for the synagis shot.

We have to go to the dentist b/c the pedi told us today Jack has a "lack of enamel" on his teeth (prob b/c of being preemie) and his teeth are already decaying, no matter how much we brush. Our regular dentist says he starts seeing kids at 3.

Re: XP: Oh good lord!

  • I suppose we can forgive you.... :)  Just teasing.  Sounds like a really rough day!!!
  • oh holy cow...and I thought dd pooping in the tub was bad!!! Good luck!
  • I don't know if it's TMI, but I have the same problem with my teeth.  I'm not sure what they will be able to do for him so early, but I would get your dentist to document everything he can about them.  I have been fighting with our dental insurance company because my dentist said the only thing that can help me is getting veneers at this point.  But the insurance company won't approve it because they say it's still cosmetic, and my teeth haven't been bad yet.  The only thing that I can do now is pay for it out of pocket (no way too much $$) or continue to go in for cleanings 4 times a year.  I hope you have better luck with this than I do!  Sorry for the TMI, but I thought you should be warned about the problems this may cause down the road.
  • thanks stacy...my pedi woarned us that it could eventually destroy his permanant teeth before they come in so hopefully tomorrow we'll get good news.

  • If you get good news maybe I'll see if they can help me :)
  • Yey, things to look forward to.  ugh, sorry you had a rough day.  I want to cry for you just reading that.  Sounds like there's going to be some yummy food tonight. Maybe that will make it a little better.
